Fall Weather Hair Tips

Changes in the weather can take a toll on your hair making it lackluster, dry, frizzy, and brittle. But you can help make your hair shiny, bouncy, and smooth with these fall weather hair tips:

  • Load your diet with fall foods that are good for your hair and skin. Drink plenty of water which can help to keep your hair well-conditioned.
  • Use tepid water for washing your hair. Hot water can rob your scalp of natural oil and lead to dry hair and dandruff.
  • Avoid shampoos with SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate), DEA (Diethanolamine), and other harsh chemicals. Such ingredients may cause allergic reactions, scalp irritation, and brittle hair, and may cause hair loss and stop hair growth. It is worth it to invest in a quality shampoo and conditioner.
  • Avoid using blow-dryers, curling irons, and flat irons because the artificial heat harms your hair.
